PH Blog Tour: Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix by Julie C. Dao

Greetings, everyone! Today, together with Erika from The Nocturnal Fey, we are opening the sign-up form for the PH Blog Tour: Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix by Julie C. Dao which I highly recommend for everyone to read. Huge gratitude to Penguin Random House International for granting us permission to host the blog tour of Kingdom here in the Philippines!

Title: Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix by Julie C. Dao

Publication Date: November 6th 2018 by Philomel Books

ISBN: 9781524738334

This fairy tale retelling lives in a mystical world inspired by the Far East, where the Dragon Lord and the Serpent God battle for control of the earthly realm; it is here that the flawed heroine of Forest of a Thousand Lanterns finally meets her match. An epic fantasy finale to the Rise of the Empress novels.

Princess Jade has grown up in exile, hidden away in a monastery while her stepmother, the ruthless Xifeng, rules as empress of Feng Lu. But the empire is in distress and its people are sinking into poverty and despair. Even though Jade doesn’t want the crown, she knows she is the only one who can dethrone the empress and set the world right. Ready to reclaim her place as rightful heir, Jade embarks on a quest to raise the Dragon Lords and defeat Xifeng and the Serpent God once and for all. But will the same darkness that took Xifeng take Jade, too? Or will she find the strength within to save herself, her friends, and her empire?

Set in an East Asian-inspired fantasy world filled with breathtaking pain and beauty, Kingdom of the Blazing Phoenix is filled with dazzling magic, powerful prose, and characters readers won’t soon forget.

Fans of Stealing Snow, Red Queen, and The Wrath and the Dawn will hungrily devour this page-turning read.

The tour will run from November 5th to November 10th 2018 with two (2) bloggers to post a BOOK REVIEW and one (1) blogger to post a creative promotional blog post each day and will be given five (5) days to read the book and then one (1) day to pass it to the next blogger. There will be multiple copies of the book that will be passed on this tour. The book blogger must be willing to shoulder the shipping expenses to the next blogger. This blog tour sign-up is open only for Philippine Book Bloggers. Tour sign up will end on 23rd of September 2018. A creative post is highly encouraged.

Remember that Book Bloggers who have read Forest of a Thousand Lanterns or posted a book review of FoTL has an advantage when signing up. Don’t be discouraged if you haven’t read FoTL as Kingdom can be read separately and you can still sign-up and have a chance to join the tour. Also, please be reminded that you MUST include the buy-links on your blog post for the tour that might be given before, during, or after the tour.

Sixteen (16) – Twenty (20) participants are needed for this tour.
